Two best pals Rohan and Sonia were walking through the desert. During some point of the journey they had an argument on which Sonia said something harsh to Rohan.
Rohan was Hurt, too hurt to believe what he just heard and choose to be silent.Without saying anything he wrote in the sand:
TODAY MY BEST PAL SONIA WAS HARSH WITH HER WORDS. I AM HURT.
They kept on walking until they found an oasis, where they decided to take a dip.
The moment Sonia stepped in she got stuck in the mire and started drowning, to which Rohan within seconds came and pulled her out. Sonia had tears in her eyes. She did not intended to hurt Rohan, she loves him and could not take his silence.
After Sonia recovered from the near drowning, she wrote on a stone:
TODAY MY BEST PAL, ROHAN SAVED MY LIFE.
On seeing this Rohan broke his silence and asked Sonia "After you hurt me I wrote in the sand and now I see that after I saved you,you wrote on a stone, why?"
Sonia was sad. She wanted Rohan to talk to her, she was sorry for the harsh words she used.
" When we share our precious moments with someone, we share a bond."
" When someone hurts us we should write it down in sand where winds of forgiveness can erase it away.
But, when someone does something good for us, we must engrave it in stone where no wind can ever erase it."
It takes ages to find a special person, days to appreciate them, years to Love them ,minutes to loose them and lifetime to forget them!
